Photographing brothers is special. When capturing images of young brothers, it is extra special to get them to connect. Getting them to hug, touch, kiss, or hold something together shows a bond. Getting kiddos to connect during sessions is key to a photo that mom and dad fall in love with. However, know that sometimes that is just not going to happen. Kids are temperamental and have a mind of their own. If they do not "feel the love" during a session be careful not to push it and end up with a meltdown. Instead, find ways for them to work together in their own space. We find looking for flowers or hunting for crickets together can do the trick.
